Many people avoid exercise for various reasons but once you hear the benefits of fitness exercise you could reconsider.

Fitness exercise is extremely important for us all when it comes to staying mentally and physically healthy. Just by including as little as half and hour of moderate exercise in your day a minimum of three times a week you will be helping your body to function properly.

Fitness exercise doesn’t have to be boring, try looking into some of the scenic walking trails in your area, take up a ballroom dancing class or take your bicycle for a ride. Find a friend to go with you to help keep you motivated. If you want to involve the kids, then even pushing them on the swings or climbing with them on the jungle gym counts as physical activity because you are also helping to get them get into a healthy outdoor routine. The most important thing to keep you motivated is to keep it fun. If you are doing something you enjoy then you are less likely to give it up.

Don’t take on too much at once. Give your body and yourself time to get used to the changes. You don’t want to burn out too quickly and you don’t want to hurt yourself. Also remember that miracles won’t happen over night and patience and persistence are the best tools.

Cardiovascular endurance is one of the elements of fitness exercise which is the most important to us. This element makes sure that important organs like the lungs, heart and the circulatory system are all able to their job effectively. These organs are vital to transporting oxygen to all the cells in the body and cardiovascular endurance also aids in the ability of the body’s to be able to deliver even greater quantities of oxygen to all your hard working muscles. With regular exercise, your heart will eventually be fit enough to pump more blood through your body and therefore will be able to deliver more even oxygen to the cells.

There are so many benefits to regular fitness exercise, including preventing chronic health conditions to promoting weight loss and even better sleep. Exercise will also make you feel better about yourself thus increasing self confidence.

All these benefits to fitness exercise are yours for the taking, regardless of age, sex or physical ability. You can start whenever you are ready. The younger the better of course as this will allow you to get into a routine early in life. Staying active however seems to become more important as we age as many of the health problems seen in elderly people are a result of inactivity. You will find that once you start using you muscles and increasing your heart rate, simple daily things will become easier.
